Powered
by a 7.5 HP air cooled Lombardini diesel, The Hanger delivers
4.5 KW of continuous 120 volt 60 cycle electric power –
enough for heat or a/c, a micro-wave, VCR, TV, and a small
refrigerator -- burning a miserly three-tenths of a gallon
of fuel an hour at full load.

At
just under 200 lbs., the Hanger’s vibro-isolated, heavy-duty
welded framework mounts just about anywhere. A lift pump
provides fuel from the main engine tank, and The Hanger
exhausts through the truck’s existing exhaust system by
way of a custom length of stainless steel flex pipe.

Lombardini
is the world’s largest manufacturer of single cylinder diesel
engines, and a leader in emmission control. The
Hanger’s Model 15LD350, featuring electric start with manual
back up, is pressure lubricated and allows for precise monitoring
of engine oil pressure for safety shut down.

The
Hanger’s control panel –- with key start and oil pressure
and output monitors -- includes a 78-inch harness for in-cab
mounting. 
|
Similarly,
the distribution panel for electric output, featuring two
duplex 20 amp 125 volt receptacles with individual circuit
breakers, is also supplied with a 78-inch harness. Both
include quick disconnects at the generator end.
The
Hanger’s Getec synchronous generator features a skewed rotor
with an exclusive damper cage for excellent starting characteristics
and a clean power wave.
